Some nice, light-hearted spanking banter in this year's Dr Who xmas special. The crotchety Dr 1 threatens companion Bill (Pearl mackie) with a 'spanked bottom', leading to some teasing dialogue between her and the (only slightly younger and less crotchety) Dr 12 about professor-student relations and her being a 'broad-minded girl.' It's pretty cute, and nicely sends up the Dr/companion 'sexual tension' trope that's become a feature of recent series.
